who We Are
“4 the World is a U.S.-based non-profit organization providing support to under-developed communities throughout the world, by empowering local people to collaborate, learn new skills, and improve their own communities.”

We provide assistance with new or improved community infrastructure, building materials and construction, and program resources for education, healthcare and other localized training.
our STRATEGY
1. Ecofriendly
We try to keep items from going to landfills that can be of great use to many people lacking access to medical supplies, computers and electronics, cell phones and learning materials.
North American’s recycle a lot but there is so much more we could do to make our world a better place. Technology changes so fast for us we often overlook what our discarded materials could do to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
3. Focus on
Health- We bring new and used medical resources to the communities and work with them to develop a focus on better healthcare for all community members.
Education- We not only provide resources to teach we also provide vital training and peer support programs to improve overall learning.
2. Sustainability
All of our projects train and inspire communities to continue and pass on the knowledge of self-sustainability and growth.
Working with underserved communities, we use the ideas and methods of the community therefore it is a community’s project, something they create and maintain not just a handout.
4. Collaboration
We believe that collaborative partner-ships can empower individuals.
Our work is not just the work of one individual or one organization. We collaborate with many individuals, schools and nonprofits.
4 the World
4 the World was founded in 2004 by Robert Keith Froom after a mission trip to rebuild houses following Hurricane Keith.
Many communities now have access to computers, school supplies medical resources and wonderful volunteer teams of students, medical professionals and educators who join 4 the World to make a difference.
how To Get Involved
We welcome participation by individuals and organizations who wish to join our efforts by providing local or non-local volunteers, cash donations and/or in-kind contributions of goods or services.
Volunteer Projects
We plan and execute volunteer excursion projects that we offer through out the year to interested individuals, schools, clubs and corporations to go to underserved communities and work with local volunteers. Contributions
We are a registered 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization and always welcome contributions that will help fund our projects. No amount of contribution is too small. Even a $5 contribution can change a life. And with $25 and up, we can now and make a difference to those in need. Donations are tax deductible.
